SPAZZATURA EXHIBITION

An unfiltered archive of one year at Moka Studio. A collection of photographs, drawings, textiles, sketches, comics, digital works and objects, both finished and unfinished. A space to share the creative process as it is, including experiments, imperfections, unfinished ideas and everything in between. Presented at Border Space, Chippendale, NSW 2008, with a sold-out opening night.

LABORATORIO DI RICAMO

For our first community workshop, we brought together 20 people around embroidery, with a simple idea: creating a space to learn, experiment and make things together, without rushing or worrying about getting everything right. We took care of the concept and organisation, from finding the location and curating the playlist to preparing snacks and assembling 20 embroidery kits by hand, each gifted to a participant. A moment dedicated to making, exchanging ideas and embracing imperfections along the way. Creative direction, workshop concept & production by our studio. Interested in creating a workshop together?
